Well for some you may have seen the story about the damage done at the "BIG VALLEY JAMBOREE" which is held in Camrose Alberta,
I used to take my mobile concession SPUD BUDS here and what an experience.
This past weekend there were horrendous tornado-like winds and one lady died when hit with a speaker I believe. The whole sound stage collapsed. Apparantly KEVIN COSTNER was about to go on. Never knew he was into music.
I have just contacted our friends who we helped with two of their other mobiles to see how their WIGGLE CHIP units survived as they had two on location.
They are on their way back to New Westminster, BC and the damage will be viewed.
This event was something to behold as only in Alberta would C & W fans park their lawn chairs out all day to take in whomever was singing. They drew big names from the USA and the last time I was there REBA was on and what a show she did.
My eldest daughter was there on August when it snowed...yes the show goes on no matter what happens although in this particular case it was closed.
My heart goes out to those who were seriously injured and of course the family of the person who was killed.
What of course will probably happen this event may not survive litigation etc. when it was really "an act of God"...

That is a disaster for sure. Sorry to hear someone was killed. The weather can be disturbing at times.
